Resort
The resort is on a small island on the Vaavu atoll 25 minutes by seaplane from Male.
The resort is brand new and all rooms are new, bright and have a luxurious feel.
There is a pool, fitness room, table tennis and table soccer, beach volley, a shop (not opened yet) and an ice cream shop (not opened yet).
The island is a little naked – not much vegetation, but it is on its way with lots of plants and trees that has been planted but need to grow more to create ambience.
Villa
We stayed in a Water Bungalow for 7 nights on All inclusive. It was absolutely fabulous.
Large comfy room and bathroom, tv, tea/coffee making facilities, big bed with view of the ocean and a big terrace with sun loungers, hammock, table with 4 chairs and stairs right down to the ocean.
Only thing missing is somewhere to hang your wet towels and bathing suits to dry.

Restauranten har ikke sandgulv som så mange andre resorts på Maldiverne
Food
Minibar is not included unless you book premium AI. There aren't any snacks available between meals yet, but I am sure there will be when they open properly.
The buffet-restaurant is placed partly overwater with ocean view, and the food is very good. Live station with pasta every day at lunch and dinner and live stations with 3-4 other options as well for dinner and 2 for lunch and of course buffet with a good variety to choose from.
The service in the restaurant is fantastic – the most sweet and helpful people.
Only problem is that food on the buffet gets cold rather quickly, but I am sure they will solve that problem before opening properly (I have heard that this is still an issue one year later).
There is also another restaurant placed in the middle of the sunset water bungalows, but it has not opened yet.
BAR
The pool bar is nice, but there is not much going on – live music 1-2 times a week and a DJ on Friday night. But I am sure they will add more activities, when they open properly.
There is another bar by the water villas, but it has not opened yet

SPA
The spa is located by the water villas and is really good – some of the best massages I have had on the Maldives. But it is quite expensive!
Diving
The dive center is located at the end of the arrival pier. My husband had 12 dives with them and he was excited – nice and helpful people, brand new equipment and some very good dive sites close by.

House reef
The island has a decent house reef - and some nice small reef pinnacles between the water villas. The corals are in good health – not much bleaching and there is quite a lot of marine life.
Before lunch, the easiest way to reach the reef is down the stairs from the diving center – after lunch the current changes and visibility gets bad. Again from 17:30 visibility is good and the sharks (nurse and white tip) wake up so you can snorkel with them. After lunch the reef just in front of the sunset water villas is best. You can swim out there from outside the water villas or between the water villas where you can enjoy the reef pinnacles on your way. You can also swim out from the beach bungalows but I didn't try that.
Would I return to this resort?
Yes, when it is a bit more "settled" - but it is too expensive for our budget as for now.
